This last weekend we were able to go up and visit Matt's family in Vancouver. It was tons of fun. Mindy and Zack were there with there kids and Amanda and Chad were able to come down from Seattle with there kids too. It was so great for Talmadge to see his Nanna and Grandpa and get to know then even better It was a fun packed weekened. The first day there we started out with Nanna taking Talmadge to Build a Bear. It was so much fun. Talmadge was in ahhh the whole time.
We picked him out a monkey, which I think totally fits him. Talmadge was able to push the peddle to put the stuffing in him and then give him an air bath, it was so cute.
Then you can only leave it to the dad to pick out a Seattle Seahawks uniform for the monkey!
As you can see we had a ton of fun with him doing this. We even named the monkey Bongo!!
Next, we went swimming with the whole family which the kids just loved!!!!We also got a chance to go and see the play "Wicked" while we were there. Which for any of those who have seen it. It is by far the best play ever done. We love it so much. And got lots of time to play with all the kids.
Thanks for a great weekend everybody. It was great seeing you all! Miss ya already!

Our little house guest!!!
This week was a very busy week for me. Crystal and Drew went to Mexico so we got to take care of Makenzie for the week. It was so fun!!! Talmadge and her had so much fun playing together. Talmadge absolutly loved having someone around all the time to play with, and sometimes bug more then play :). She had to go in every morning and wake him up with "Good morning Baby T." We went and played with Grandma lots during the week.
We also took care of our friends dog, "Remie" the whole week to so we had a very full house! But we loved having our little house guest, it was SOOOOO much fun. She is such a good little girl! The cute kids all ready to go to church. It was so fun for me getting a little girl ready and curling her hair all up.
Mom will hate me for posting this picture but I just thought it was so cute of her and the kids Watching Micky's Club House

Our trip to Denver
So, Matt got a phone call last Tuesday that he needed to come to Denver on Wednesday to work with my brothers company on their project they are working on together. We decided to check the flights to see if I could go but since it was only 1 day notice we expected the tickets to be really expensive. Well, I am not sure if they were have problems filling the plane or what but the tickets were really cheap. So, Talmadge and I decided to hop on the plane with Matt and go visit my brothers and their families. We stayed with Kat and Todd, I think it was good because Kat and I kept each other company while Todd and Matt worked none stop the whole time we were there.

We went swimming at their awesome pool they have there, the kids had so much fun. The two little ones spent a lot of time at the little spray fountains.
Doesn't my little bubba look so cute in his swimming trunks!!!!!Little Page, we got her in her PJ's in the morning, but isn't she cute!!
Aubrey was not to sure about Talmadge, she thought he was all up in her space. However, he was sure getting some ideas about walking from her. She is just cruzing around and only a month older then him!
Talmadge, Aubrey and Logan right before she left for school!
Cute Carter, Kat and Kennedi!
When we arrived at our gate at the airport, we found out our plane had been cancelled. We ended up being stuck in the airport for 10 hours. Nothing like trying to entertain a 1 year old in an airport for that long. Needless to say Talmadge was so tired and crashed soon as we got on the plane and slept the whole way home. Thanks you guys for such a great weekend it was so great seeing you all.

Happy Birthday Matt
This last week was Matt's birthday and I think it was a great day. We had the family over for a big superbowl party with chips and dipand all the yummies. We ate dinner had pie and had all sorts of fun. Happy 31st birthday honey!!! For his birthday I have to put a tribute to what a great dad he is. I have to put up the cutest picture ever!!! Matt was putting up the safety stoppers to the garbage area and Talmadge wanted to be his big helper so much, so daddy gave him a tool just for himself, it was so cute!!!!!! What big strong men I have in my life!!!
TALMADGES FIRST HAIR CUT!!!
Ok, I know this has nothing to due with Matt's birthday but I had to post this. Talmadge finally got his first haircut. It only took 13 months to grow long enough hair for a haircut..........however, it was so cute, he was so curious about what Grandma was doing to the top of his head he just kept staring up at her. He did a great job for her though, and he looks like such a handsome little man!!!

Life around our house!
Well, life around here has been pretty normal the holidays are over and we get to go back to just spending time together. Matt's freelance has kept him very, very busy and his regular job has as well, with this new project they are working on with my brothers company. We have been doing some fun things around here so I thought I would posts some pictures of life around here:
This was our trip to go see Great Grandma Givens, she was in town from Arizona. The kids had great fun getting to know her, Talmadge couldn't get enough of the apples and oranges as you see, and cute little Makenzie, she love the little rocking char that Grandma had.
The other day we were at Austin's basketball game and Talmadge was loving droping the mint box for Andra to pick up, he thought it was so funny!!! This is his funny little laugh, now he throws his head back and shows all his front teeth when he thinks something it really funny!
Nothing like playing around the house as a family. Talmadge loves his basketball hoop and Dinosour. I never thought spending time at home would be so much fun. But kids just make it all worth while!!

Merry Christmas
Christmas was so great this year. We started out the holiday with a pajama party at Grandma Babbitt's, she got the cutest PJ's for all the kids. They had so much fun................
Up to a certain point, then everything Talmadge tried to do he seemed to be getting hurt over. Sad little boy!!!!!!!!
Then on Christmas day we opened up presents at our house, which Talmadge loved, including his big dinosaur that we got him!! Then went over to Crystal and Drew's and hung out and had yummy food and just enjoyed the day with family, and being warm inside with all the snow outside!!! What a great Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!
