So the other week I went in to the Dr. office to have Talmadges cough checked out because he has had it for about 3 weeks now. However, we came out with more news then his cough. We found out that both of his ear tubes were out. One totally out and the other floating around in luquid in his ears. And neadless to say both were infected!!!!
My little boy and his ears. So this morning we had to go back into surgery to have new tubes put in. The Dr. also discovered that his adenoids were swollen, so during the surgery the Dr. had to remove some of that to help his ears. Which we also found out has been causing his constant cough we couldn't seem to kick. The surgery took him about 30 minutes and we were in and out of the hospital within 3 hours, so not to bad.My cute little boy was such a trooper didn't even cry when they took him back. He came out of the anesthesia better this time then last, but it still took him about 30 minutes to get coherent. He has been doing really well today just really grogy and just wanting to watch Christmas movies on mommies lap. (he is not a big one for sitting on laps and watching movies, so I ate up every moment of it). We pray that this will be his last ear surgery ever!!!!!!
