The Stork is on its way!!!!!

Ok so most of you have already heard. But for those that haven't or those that just want to see the picture. We are having a baby!!!!!! Or may I say babies!!!!!!!!! Yes you heard me right. We found out about a month and a half ago that we were pregnant, which we were so extactic about, could not be happier!!!!
We went in a couple of weeks ago for our first ultrasound, so excited to see our little bean. When we got the shock of a life time. The technician told us there were 2 little beans.........needless to say Matt and I were shocked out of our minds. Yes, you have it right we are having twins!!!!!!!!! They are fraternal twins as you will see in the ultrasound picture. (They are in 2 different sacks), so here is the picture of our 2 little children that will coming to join us sometime in September. So, my official due date in Oct. 1st, but I probably won't make it to due date so they will be here sometime in September. I have been feeling pretty good except constantly tired, hungry, and nauseated. The one joy all women should feel when pregnant and hungry constantly is food looking good. However, not happening this time around. I just have to pick what makes me feel the least sick out of them all. But other then those things I can't complain.
Matt and I are so elated, scared, excited, dazed, and happier beyond belief at our 2 little ones that will be arriving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life around the house

So life around here has been pretty fun, we have been able to spend more time as a family and been starting family night on Monday nights and we try to find some fun thing Talmadge will love doing or we all will. Here are some pictures. One night we made homemade pizza's which turned out really good. By the way Talmadge loves this little stepping stool I got him, he loves to help me cook every night!!!We did finger painting and then made root beer floats for desert. Talmadge loved sucking off the foam from the floats like Daddy showed him to. It was quite funny. We have really enjoyed our family nights.

Other things we have been doing around the house areI love this picture of these too. They just have way to much fun together. Makenzie calls Talmadge her best friend. Hanging out and playing in the snow with cousins. This day was really cold and windy and the snow was not nearly as fun as we were hoping it would be.Being completely and utterly stupid with the girls. Thanks to Crystals bows that she makes. Matt will hate me for posting this pictures but personally I think it is one of the most endearing pictures ever!!!!!!!! I how I love my boys!!!!

New Adventures

So we have been starting some new adventures here at the Stevens house. The first would be moving our little boy into a big boy bed!!!!!We weren't planning on moving him until next month. However, when we were over at my sister and he was in the porta crib, the side clasped and he was able to crawl out, which gave him the brilliant idea of "why can't I do this in my crib" Needless to say it only took us one more day to figure out the crib was not going to work anymore whatsoever.
It started out really rough, taking about 2 hours to put him to bed because he thought he needed to crawl out of this too. However, after 2 weeks of working with him, and wanting to bang our head against the wall, I am proud to say that we are down to 15 minutes putting him to bed. And he loves his bed!!!!!! My little boy all grown up!!!!Second bit of news. Kimberly has started a new job. My sister and brother-in-laws company, Exel Driving, is expanding and in need of new employees. So, I have opted to work for them 2 nights a week and be a driving instructor. Yes, a little scary in the car with 14 and 15 year olds however, it is great hours, pay and obviously a great company to work for. It's fun to get out of the house for a little bit each week and be a professional.
Well that is all the news for now. More posts to come soon.

Merry Christmas

This year we got to go up to Vancouver and spend Christmas with Matt's family. It was great fun because everyone in his family was able to make it. We were able to do lots of fun things while we were there and Talmadge had a great time getting to know his cousins. We took family pictures there which turned out great I think. How cute is this little boy!!!!
We had lots of time to hang out and play with cousins and Aunts and Uncles.Talmadge and Uncle Adam and Uncle Nick being awesome enough to push around Talmadge in the car. Talmadge and Trey. Only one week apart in age.All of us girls making some dinner. We to all make our own ginger bread houses. Each family had their own. Lots of fun. We even got to celebrate Talmadge and my birthdays with some shopping, brownies and ice cream!!!
Christmas eve was really nuts, we all stayed up till about 3am wrapping presents. We were having a lot of fun and when the kids all woke up about 7am it was early but so awesome. Opening up presents was really crazy with 5 grandkids under the age of 4 however, we got it done in a couple of hours and watching the kids play with their toys was so much fun. The new PJ's Talmadge got on Christmas eve from Santa's Reindeer. And we must not forget to pay to tribute to the many many hours of Beatles rock band that was played all week long and lots on Christmas day!!.!!
Thanks Stevens for a fabulous Christmas and letting us stay at your house Talmadge and us loved all of it. We miss you guys already!!!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday for Talmadge and the big 30 for Kimberly!!!!
I can't believe the time has passed so fast and Talmadge is already 2 he is just turning into my little man!!! And time passing so fast to make me 30 already!!!!! I couldn't ask for a more fabulous little boy. Well behaved (for the most part), sweet, cute as can be and the center of my universe!!!!

So, for our birthday this year we decided to go with the family and go bowling. I have to say it was one of the funnest birthday's I have had in quite some time and I really think everyone else had a blast too. Here are some of the highlights!!!Every time Talmadge bowled he always had to give Makenzie a hug after words. They were attached at the hip it was so cute!!!Mason was good enough to just chill and watch all the action!Oh how my family loves there nephew and cousin. I couldn't ask for more love then they get!!!

After bowling we went to the house and had pizza. We took a short break in the night to run down to our neighbors house who had Santa there visiting and the kids all got to sit on his lap. Then we came back home opened presents and had lots of cake.Talmadge even got a Mickey Mouse bowling set for his birthday and the kids had so much fun with it!!!Our awesome cakes, always an ice cream one for me and such a cute one for Talmadge made by Aunt Crystal!!Talmadge even blew out his own birthday candles with no help!!!!
What a great birthday and man do I love sharing it with my son. Hopefully it takes him a long time figure out it is uncool to share with his mom. Happy Birthday my sweetie!!!!

2nd time around!!!!

So the other week I went in to the Dr. office to have Talmadges cough checked out because he has had it for about 3 weeks now. However, we came out with more news then his cough. We found out that both of his ear tubes were out. One totally out and the other floating around in luquid in his ears. And neadless to say both were infected!!!!
My little boy and his ears. So this morning we had to go back into surgery to have new tubes put in. The Dr. also discovered that his adenoids were swollen, so during the surgery the Dr. had to remove some of that to help his ears. Which we also found out has been causing his constant cough we couldn't seem to kick. The surgery took him about 30 minutes and we were in and out of the hospital within 3 hours, so not to bad.My cute little boy was such a trooper didn't even cry when they took him back. He came out of the anesthesia better this time then last, but it still took him about 30 minutes to get coherent. He has been doing really well today just really grogy and just wanting to watch Christmas movies on mommies lap. (he is not a big one for sitting on laps and watching movies, so I ate up every moment of it). We pray that this will be his last ear surgery ever!!!!!!
